Hello ASC Families,
Happy Holidays! Its hard to believe but it is time to start planning our 19th Annual Memorial Day Classic Tournament. This annual soccer tournament is our club's major fundraiser and a lot of fun and games for our kids. We hosted 264 teams last year. Our biggest year yet. We earn a significant amount of our funds from this weekends event which helps keep our fees down, but we can only make it work if all our members volunteer. All Parents are assigned approximately 6-8 hours per player this weekend at a specific duty such as field marshaling, concessions, parking, field cleanup, etc. Please keep the weekend free for your child's games and your work assignment.
I am looking for people who would be interested in completing their hours early and would like to help in the
organization and planning of the upcoming tournament. If you will NOT be around for the Memorial Weekend, this is the perfect time to fulfill your volunteer hours. This committee usually meets once a month. We are planning our first meeting for January. The Tournament Committee is usually broken up into groups. We look for people to help with registration, tournament program, advertising, field prep, scheduling, etc.
